Enshrinement

{GALLERY}Arizona Cardinals legend and Class of 2014 Hall of Famer Aeneas Williams made a trip to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Wednesday. The seven-time Pro Bowler was in Canton to prepare for his upcoming Enshrinement in August.
Part of his visit included a guided tour through the museum. The former cornerback/safety admired the artifacts worn by the heroes of the game that helped cultivate his position.
A large portion of Williams' tour was spent in the Hall of Fame Gallery. He enjoyed looking at the Hall of Fame busts of defensive backs such as Dick “Night Train” Lane and Emlen Tunnell; and Charles Bidwill Sr., whose family has owned the Cardinals franchise since 1933.
Williams recapped his visit to the Hall of Fame with one word, “Excellence.”
“This whole day has been truly amazing. The hearts of the people that are willing to serve us as players to make this the most memorable moment of our lives. – Man, at the end of the day I’ll thank God for not just this opportunity but celebrate the lives of people who do this on an everyday basis,” said Williams.
He finished the day by meeting with the Hall of Fame staff to plan for his Enshrinement and talking with members of the media.
Williams and his fellow Class of 2014 enshrinees – Derrick Brooks, Ray Guy, Claude Humphrey, Walter Jones, Andre Reed and Michael Strahan – will be formally enshrined into the Hall of Fame on Saturday, Aug. 2 at 7 p.m. ET.
