“Gold Jackets” Group Photo on Hall of Fame’s Front Steps Set For Friday

FANS INVITED TO CAPTURE MOMENT
Fans on the Hall of Fame campus to celebrate the 2014 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival will experience a special treat on Friday morning when more the 100 “Gold Jackets” (returning Hall of Famers) pose for a group photo in front of the Hall’s main entrance. The photo will be taken at approximately 9:15 a.m. on Friday, August 1.
The who’s who of football’s greatest will arrive for a grand “Red Carpet” walk to the front steps of the Hall of Fame. The Gold Jackets will be assembled on the steps for this historic group photo. The public is welcomed and encouraged to attend and capture the spectacular moment at no charge.
Seats are still available for the Enshrinement of the Class of 2014 (Derrick Brooks, Ray Guy, Claude Humphrey, Walter Jones, Andre Reed, Michael Strahan, and Aeneas Williams) on Saturday, Aug. 2 and the NFL/Hall of Fame Game (New York Giants vs. Buffalo Bills) on Sunday, Aug. 3. Tickets>>> |
“This is a wonderfully spectacular tradition, one of the greatest in all of sports,” Hall of Fame President David Baker stated. “Nowhere can fans see so many of the greatest Heroes of the Game in one place at one time. There’s no better way to kick off the NFL’s 95th season.”
