Notre Dame vs. Syracuse

Notre Dame and Syracuse faced off at MetLife Stadium on Saturday night during a nationally televised game on ABC. In their pregame show, ABC noted that there are 17 Hall of Famers between the two schools.

Notre Dame (10) - Nick Buoniconti, Dave Casper, George Connor, Paul Hornung, Earl “Curly” Lambeau, John “Blood” McNally, Wayne Millner, Joe Montana, Alan Page, George Trafton

Syracuse (7) - Jim Brown, Larry Csonka, Al Davis, Floyd Little, John Mackey, Art Monk, Jim Ringo

It has been 36 years since either school has produced a Hall of Famer since Art Monk graduated in 1979. Both schools are in the top five for colleges that have produced the most Hall of Famers:
