The Pro Football Hall of Fame in conjunction with Extreme Networks, Inc., a leader in high performance networking, today announced a significant equipment grant to Perry Local Schools in Massillon, Ohio.
The Hall of Fame and Extreme Networks together will donate $28,565 of equipment to Perry Schools, including 35 IdentiFi Wi-Fi access points with controller licensing. With the Wi-Fi access points throughout the schools’ classrooms, students will be able to access i-Ready software from any device to help with online test scores and accelerate the learning process. The school will be tracking the results by evaluating the students’ learning next month compared with how they do at the end of the year, which will also show how significant wireless has been in their education success.
The donation was presented today at a ceremony at the Hall of Fame with representatives from Perry Local Schools, Extreme Networks and the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
