Favre Eligible for HOF's Class of '16

Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre will be inducted in the franchise’s Hall of Fame today. After that, he and Packers fans will shift their focus to the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s selection process for the Class of 2016. A list of modern-era candidates will be announced in September. Favre is eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame for the first time.
The Hall’s bylaws require that a player or coach must have last played or coached at least five seasons before he can be eligible. The selection process lasts year-round and the newest class will be announced on the eve of the Super Bowl. Read more details about the selection process here>>>
