Parker's Family visits HOF
The family of Hall of Famer Jim Parker made a special detour to the Pro Football Hall of Fame today. Parker’s widow Mae, son Jim Parker Jr., daughter Sheri Parker and grandson Keenon Reddicks were in Columbus, Ohio for a family reunion and decided to make the trip to Canton to honor the great Baltimore Colts guard and tackle.
They received a special behind-the-scenes tour from the Hall of Fame’s Archivist Jon Kendle. They reminisced about Parker’s career and the history of the game. They were also able to view artifacts from Parker’s career such as game programs, photos as well as an autographed football from his Enshrinement in 1973.
Parker was the first full-time offensive lineman to be enshrined into the Hall.
