Hall Receives Historic Donation

Today, the Pro Football Hall of Fame received a donation that had great historical significance from the Arizona Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs preseason game on Aug. 15, 2015. Line judge Sarah Thomas became the first full-time female official and Cardinals coach intern Jen Welter became the first woman to coach players in an NFL game.

The Cardinals sent a shirt worn by Welter during the 39-19 Chiefs victory and a flip card signed by both women. The items were promptly placed on exhibit in the Pro Football Today Gallery.
