PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME, ORLANDO PACE, ANDRE REED AND ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER TO APPEAR AT ARNOLD FITNESS EXPO
Class of 2016 enshrinee Orlando Pace will make his first appearance for the Hall of Fame at the 2016 Arnold Fitness EXPO at the Greater Columbus (Ohio) Convention Center. The Hall of Fame tackle will take part in special “Chalk Talks and Photo Ops” on Friday, March 4. Hall of Fame wide receiver Andre Reed (Class of 2014) will appear at the EXPO on Saturday, March 5. In addition, the Pro Football Hall of Fame will be on hand throughout the weekend (March 4-6) providing the anticipated audience of 185,000 with a variety of entertainment options.
Pace starred at Ohio State University in Columbus before being selected as the first player overall in the 1997 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Rams. He was elected to the Hall of Fame earlier this month and will be formally enshrined into the Hall in August. Reed, known for his “yards after the catch,” amassed 13,198 yards on 951 catches during his career that was spent mostly with the Buffalo Bills. Pace and Reed will take part in Chalk Talks and a Kids Press Conference. Pace will appear at two chalk talks, noon to 1:30 pm and 2:30-4 pm on Friday, March 4 and Reed will appear on Saturday, March 5 at a chalk talk from 10-11:30 am and a kids press conference from 12:30-2 pm. Arnold Schwarzenegger is scheduled to join Pace at the noon “Chalk Talk.”
In addition, the Hall of Fame’s Youth/Education staff will run combine drills created specially for this event. Guests can participate in the drills and test their skills against the scores of actual NFL Combine participants. The combine drills will take place throughout Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8:30-5:30 except when the Hall’s “Chalk Talks” are being held.
The Hall of Fame’s staff will also conduct Heads Up Tackling drills from 10-11 am and 1-2 pm on Sunday, March 6. The Hall’s staff include two certified Heads Up Football® Master Trainers who were taught how to provide instruction on how to implement USA Football's Heads Up Tackling techniques, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention concussion recognition and response protocols and proper helmet and shoulder pad fitting.
Other activities being provided by the Hall of Fame to guests include photo ops with a Hall of Fame Gold Jacket, and the Bronze Bust of Hall of Fame receiver and former Ohio State Buckeye Cris Carter. The Hall of Fame will also offer special showings of the popular NFL Network documentary series, “A Football Life.”

U.S. Army–Pro Football Hall of Fame Award for Excellence Finalists to Be Announced This Week
The U.S. Army and the Pro Football Hall of Fame recently selected Olivia Truscott, from Iron Mountain High School in Michigan, as a finalist for the U.S. Army–Pro Football Hall of Fame Award for Excellence. The rest of the 20 high-school athlete finalists for the U.S. Army–Pro Football Hall of Fame Award for Excellence will be announced later this week.
