Darrell Green, Centene & PFHOF Huddle Up for America's Youth
Last year the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Centene Corporation, along with its subsidiary Envolve, officially announced a three-year partnership. The Strong Youth Strong Community program is now in full swing and has impacted many children’s lives across the country including cities such as Canton, Pittsburgh, Austin, Las Vegas and Baltimore.
USA Today, one of the largest news outlets in the nation, recently featured a story on the program and Gold Jacket Darrell Green, who is the spokesperson for it. Read the story here>>>
The Centene/Pro Football Hall of Fame partnership builds on Centene and Envolve’s Strong Youth, Strong Communities initiative (SYSC), established with Greene in 2015. SYSC is an ongoing, nationwide initiative designed to equip and assist youth and youth-serving organizations across America. SYSC is locally driven, collaborating with local leaders and stakeholders in schools, government, and other social supports to facilitate success among youth and strengthen their communities.
“We thank Darrell Green for bringing us this partnership with SYSC and Centene, a perfect fit for our Mission, To Honor the Heroes of the Game, Preserve Its History, Promote Its Values and Celebrate Excellence Everywhere,” said George Veras Chief Operating Officer and Executive Producer.
The program will head to the west coast in November and will positively impact youth in Sacramento and Los Angeles.
