Woodson to Deliver Spring Commencement Address
Former Oakland Raiders and Green Bay Packers defensive back Charles Woodson will return to his alma mater, the University of Michigan, to deliver the spring commencement address on April 28 at Michigan Stadium.
Woodson announced his retirement during the 2015 season, which means his Canton eligibility begins in 2021 (see selection process rules). And, if Canton calls, he’ll be recognized with the three iconic symbols of Hall of Fame enshrinement; Bronze Bust, Gold Jacket and Hall of Fame Ring of Excellence, created by Kay® Jewelers.
There are currently 26 defensive backs enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and eight Wolverines including George Allen, Dan Dierdorf, Len Ford, Benny Friedman, Bill Hewitt, Elroy Hirsch, Tom Mack, Ralph Wilson, Jr.
