Pat Lindesmith, the Chief Partnership Officer & Senior Vice President of Gold Jacket Relations at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, has been named as a member of the 11th annual class of “Game Changers: Women in Sports Business.”

Sports Business Journal makes the selections to honor “the women who are leaders, trailblazers and innovators in the sports industry.”

“I am deeply honored and proud to be named among this group of exceptional women leaders in sports,” Lindesmith said. “The work we do at the Pro Football Hall of Fame to ‘Honor the Heroes of the Game, Preserve its History, Promote its Values and Celebrate Excellence Everywhere’ is an incredible platform that we can use to make a difference in the lives of others.

“That purpose, carried out each day, has been a ‘Game Changer’ for my career.”

SBJ will profile Lindesmith and the other women in a special section Sept. 27. They will be recognized during the ninth annual Game Changers Conference on Oct. 20 in New York City.

“Together, these 50 women make up one of the most accomplished groups of executives ever assembled,” SBJ said in announcing the names. “They are the thought leaders across their organizations — teams, leagues and colleges; agencies and brands; law firms and media companies, and more — and their impressive work extends from events and venues to social responsibility and diversity, equity and inclusion.”

SBJ noted that many of the 50 women work in largely male-dominated settings, making these Game Changers “role models and mentors to young women striving to enter and succeed in sports business.”

Honorees represent such entities as the National Football League, Major League Baseball, the PGA Tour, Major League Soccer, CBS Sports and teams from across professional sports: the Los Angeles Rams, Portland Trail Blazers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Minnesota Lynx, Pittsburgh Penguins and others.
