'The Mission' Featuring Hall of Famer Isaac Bruce
The Pro Football Hall of Fame recently unveiled the list of the 122 Modern-Era Nominees for the Class of 2022. An overall breakdown of the nominees features 65 offensive players, 46 defensive players and 11 special teams players.
One of those offensive players is wide receiver Torry Holt, who was a Finalist for the Class of 2021. He is a dear friend to Hall of Famer Isaac Bruce and a key member of the 1999 St. Louis Rams’ “Greatest Show on Turf” team.
Bruce joined “The Mission” podcast to discuss fond memories of his time playing alongside Holt as well as other players who comprise the Modern-Era Nominees list.
Bruce played for head coach Dick Vermeil, who was named the Coach Finalist for the Class of 2022. He shared detailed memories of the life lessons learned from Coach Vermeil during the latest episode.
“Very well deserving for Coach Vermeil to be a finalist,” said Bruce. “I think this is the year for Coach Vermeil. It will be tears and wine everywhere for this celebration.”
