Pro Football Hall of Fame, Better Business Bureau offering ‘Students of Integrity Scholarships’ to Stark County seniors

The Pro Football Hall of Fame and Better Business Bureau are partnering to offer Students of Integrity Scholarships to graduating seniors in Stark County.

The scholarship recipients will reflect the Hall’s values of commitment, integrity, courage, respect and honesty and the BBB’s values of ethics, integrity, honesty and trust. The organizations are coming together in this effort to recognize students in the Stark County area who exemplify these key principles that are important in helping form great community leaders.

“The Pro Football Hall of Fame is pleased to join the Better Business Bureau in offering scholarships to five Stark County seniors. The values of our organizations align beautifully for recognizing and rewarding students who are making a positive difference in our community,” said Rich Desrosiers, Chief Communications & Content Officer at the Hall of Fame.

“Both the Pro Football Hall of Fame and BBB have the word ‘integrity’ weaved throughout their organizations. The Hall honors the greatest of the game. They celebrate achievements.  But more importantly, they give back to the community. That is why the Students of Integrity Scholarship is so important to us,” said Frank Cilona, President & CEO of the local BBB chapter.

Potential candidates will be nominated by their perspective schools. Nominations may only be submitted by a teacher, administrator, coach or staff person employed in a Stark County schools system. A link to the page can be found at the BBB website (bit.ly/integrityscholarship). To qualify, a student must be a senior expected to graduate at the end of the current school year and must be attending a private, public or online school located in Stark County.

Five students will be awarded a $2,500 scholarship. Students must utilize this scholarship for any type of post-high school continued learning path, such as a four-year college, community college or trade school.

A panel of judges made up of representatives of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Better Business Bureau will review all submissions and select the five winners. All winners will be honored at an event in February.

The deadline for nominations is Dec. 1, 2022. For more information or to submit a nomination, visit https://bit.ly/integrityscholarship or contact Abby Komar at 330-454-9401, ext. 123.
