'The Mission: Pro Football Hall of Fame 2022 Enshrinement Week recap'

The newest episode of "The Mission" podcast, “Enshrinement Week recap,” is now available, following one of the greatest gatherings in professional football.

Host Jamir Howerton provides viewers an inside look at exclusive, never-seen-before content from Enshrinement Week activities. Included are the annual First Play event, the Hall of Fame Game, the Gold Jacket Dinner, the Hall of Fame Grand Parade and the Enshrinement of the Class of 2022.

As the Hall continues to gear up for events around the 2022 Black College Football Hall of Fame Classic over the Labor Day holiday weekend, it is fitting that this episode also will feature exclusive content from the recent unveiling of the Marion Motley statue. Motley’s statue stands as a tribute to the Canton native and pioneer of the game. The statue sits majestically on public park land at the gateway of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Pro Football Hall of Fame President Jim Porter and other Canton leaders were on hand for the unveiling.

“The Hall is going to use this effort as an example across the country — for other hometowns to emulate as a way to honor their great players, coaches and contributors who are in the Pro Football Hall of Fame,” Porter said.
