'The Mission': Pro Football Hall of Fame Archivist Jon Kendle
BREAKING NEWS: The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced earlier this week on NFL Network its list of 15 Modern-Era Player Finalists for the Class of 2023.
To help break down the selection process and players one step closer to enshrinement, joining "The Mission" podcast is Jon Kendle, Pro Football Hall of Fame vice president of museum and archives.
Kendle oversees the Hall of Fame's extensive library, archives and artifact collections.
In addition to Kendle's amazing work at the Hall, he is also a co-host of the Hall of Fame Village's vodcast, "Football Heaven," alongside Joe Horrigan from the Hall of Fame and Aditi Kinkhabwala from CBS Sports. The show uses artifacts to help navigate stories told through direct interviews with some of the most renowned and dynamic greats of the game.
On "The Mission" podcast, Kendle explains what's next for the Hall of Fame's Selection Committee, which consists of 49 members who will meet virtually prior to Super Bowl LVII, and how they will determine the new class.
The Class of 2023 will be unveiled publicly Feb. 9 during the "NFL Honors presented by Invisalign" broadcast from Phoenix on NFL Network, NBC and Peacock.
