The Pro Football Hall of Fame recognized the 15 recipients of the fourth annual Awards of Excellence on Thursday in Canton. On Wednesday, the Hall celebrated the 15 honorees with an evening reception in the Nash Family Event & Conference Center at the Hall. The awards were presented to the individuals or their representatives Thursday at the DoubleTree by Hilton in downtown Canton. The event was hosted by Hall of Famer DAN FOUTS.
Also in attendance were Hall of Famers MEL BLOUNT, ANTHONY MUÑOZ, DICK VERMEIL and RON WOLF, as well as other NFL Legends.

The five groups presenting the Awards of Excellence created their own selection committees and set their own criteria for choosing their class members. The Hall of Fame does not participate in any nominating or voting.
