Joe Montana’s Super Bowl XIX MVP Jersey

Joe Montana was a master of late-game comebacks. During his 14-year career mostly with the San Francisco 49ers, he directed 31 fourth quarter come-from-behind wins including a 92-yard drive in the closing seconds of Super Bowl XXIII. His uncanny ability to bring a team back from apparent defeat was so common that it simply became referred to as “Montana Magic.” Eleven times he led his team to the playoffs with victories in Super Bowls XVI, XIX, XXIII, and XXIV and was MVP in Super Bowls XVI, XIX, and XXIV. This is the jersey he wore in Super Bowl XIX.
