Mike Singletary and the Chicago Bears Super Season

Mike Singletary was the cornerstone of the Chicago Bears’ innovative 46-defense. The NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1985, Singletary led a Bears’ defense that allowed fewer than 11 points per game. In their 46-10 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XX, the Bears’ league leading defense held the Patriots to a record low seven yards rushing, while the hard-charging Singletary contributed with two fumble recoveries. This is Singletary’s jersey from the 1985 season and a Super Bowl XX game ball.
