The Black College Football Hall of Fame (BCFHOF) Classic returns to the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s campus over Labor Day weekend (Sept. 4-6, 2020). The Central State University Marauders of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) will take on the Howard University Bison from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) on Sunday, Sept. 6 at 5 p.m. in Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, adjacent to the Hall of Fame Museum. The game, that caps the weekend of events, will be nationally televised on NFL Network.

Tickets are now on sale for the game. General Admission seating is available for $40 as well as a limited number of reserved seats ($60). Also available are Club seats ($125) which include upscale food and beverage with the ticket price.

The schools’ renowned marching bands will perform at halftime of the game. Additionally, each game ticket includes access to the post-game concert in Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. The act for the concert will be announced at a later date.

Other exciting festivities currently planned over the course of the Classic weekend include a Golf Outing at the historic Clearview Golf Club the morning of Sept. 5 featuring legends from the Black College Football Hall of Fame and Pro Football Hall of Famer, dignitaries and celebrities. Also, on Saturday, the Battle of the Bands & Dance Competition will take place on the Hall’s Campus at 11 a.m. featuring regional talent and, new this year, special performances by the Howard University “Showtime” Marching Band and Central State University’s Invincible Marching Marauders. Tickets are $20 in advance and will be available in the coming weeks.

A new event – the Faith, Family & Football Concert – will feature 11-time Grammy nominated artist, Marvin Sapp and Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Jekalyn Carr on Saturday evening at the Canton Memorial Civic Center. Tickets will start at $29 and be available for purchase in the coming weeks.

On game day, a pre-game Hall of Fame Tailgate Party will take place on the Hall’s campus featuring live entertainment and highlighting the Divine Nine historically African American fraternities and sororities. There will be food vendors, a beer garden and interactive sponsor booths.
