Smith Sets Rushing Mark
Emmitt Smith set the National Football League record with his 78th career 100-yard rushing performance when he amassed 106 yards on 26 carries and scored one touchdown during the Arizona Cardinals' 25-17 win over the Seattle Seahawks during Week 7 action on Sunday. It marked the second 100-yard game for Smith this season. He rushed 21 times for 127 yards and one touchdown against the New Orleans Saints during Week 4.
Smith has rushed for 459 yards and scored five touchdowns in six games this season.
