Playoff Results: 1980s
The 1980s belonged to the San Francisco 49ers. Starting with their stirring 28-27 victory over Dallas in the 1981 NFC Championship Game, the Niners went on an amazing run that netted four Super Bowl titles in the decade -- a string of dominance that went well into the '90s. The Oakland/Los Angeles Raiders won a pair of crowns in the 10-year span, the only championships for the American Football Conference in the decade.
