The Philadelphia Eagles courageously accepted the challenge of a come-from-behind victory as they trailed the Giants of New York by 14 points. Philadelphia's QB Roy Zimmerman scored 18-points in the upset. The remaining score came off of a 6-yard lateral from Zimmerman to rookie running back Steve Van Buren.
October 5, 1958 - PHILADELPHIA 27, NY Giants 24
Norm Van Brocklin's exceptional passing paved the way for Philadelphia to edge past New York. Van Brocklin completed 16 passes for 238 yards and two TDs. The afternoon was highlighted by a 91-yard TD reception from Van Brocklin to Tommy McDonald.
September 26, 1965 - NY Giants 16, PHILADELPHIA 14
Last minute heroics by the Giants special teams was enough to propel New York past the Eagles in Philadelphia. Giants defensive back Dick Lynch exploded through the Philly line and blocked the 26-yard Sam Baker field goal attempt. Following an 11-play drive led by QB Earl Morrall, Giants' kicker Andy Stynchula clinched the victory for New York with his third field goal of the day.
In a contest dominated by the Giants defense, the Eagles were able to tie the game near the end of regulation play. Phil Simms took charge of the offense, completing 14 passes for 228 yards and 1 TD. Philadelphia CB Herman Edwards tied the game near the end of regulation play following an interception return for a TD. On the second play of the overtime period Giants CB Elvis Patterson intercepted a Ron Jaworski pass and returned it 29-yards for the game winning score.

Philadelphia and New York combined for the highest total points scored in the history of the rivalry as the Eagles overpowered the Giants by 13 points. The Giants built a comfortable 20-6 lead but watched it crumble as the Eagles responded with five straight TDs. Special teams accounted for two of those scores following an 87-yard punt return by Vai Sikahema and a 47-yard interception return by Seth Joyner.
December 28, 2002 - NY GIANTS 10, Philadelphia 7 (OT)
With playoff hopes on the line, the Giants edged past NFC East Champion Philadelphia Eagles in an overtime thriller. With an offense plagued by miscues, the Giants defense held Philly to one TD in regulation play. In an exciting overtime period, the Eagles received the ball and returned it to the 45-yard line. On the third play from scrimage, Shaun Williams intercepted an A.J. Feeley pass which lead to the game winning 39-yard FG by Matt Bryant.

The Packers-Bears rivalry is one of the greatest in NFL annals. The teams first squared off in the 1921 season and have played nearly every season since.
