Ring for Little

Hall of Fame running back Floyd Little was enshrined into the Hall of Fame in early August. On Sunday, he will receive his Hall of Fame ring during the Denver Broncos home game versus the Indianapolis Colts.

{GALLERY}Pro Football Hall of Fame President/Executive Director Steve Perry will present Little with the ring during a ceremony held at INVESCO Field at Mile High. The ring signifies the third and last iconic symbol given to Little in recognition of his induction into the Hall of Fame.

The other two symbols are the gold Hall of Fame jacket and Floyd's bronze bust. Little received his gold jacket at the annual Enshrinees Dinner held in Canton on the eve of his enshrinement. Floyd and his son Marc, who served as his presenter, unveiled the bronze bust together during the Enshrinement ceremony held on August 7.

All three of the iconic symbols representing Little's enshrinement will be showcased during Sunday's presentation. Little will take the field in his gold jacket and his bronze bust will be on display during the ceremony. It marks a rare time that a bronze bust is displayed outside of the Hall of Fame in Canton.

Little played his entire nine-season NFL career with the Broncos and is regarded as the first "face of the franchise." No player in pro football amassed more all-purpose yards than Little racked up during the span of his playing days from 1967 to 1975. With his enshrinement last month, he is now one of just 260 members in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Little become the third member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2010 to receive his Hall of Fame ring. Linebacker Rickey Jackson got his during Kickoff Weekend and San Francisco 49ers great Jerry Rice was honored last Monday before the kickoff of the 49ers-New Orleans Saints game at Candlestick Park.
