Connor family visits Hall of Fame

George Connor Jr., son of Chicago Bears Hall of Famer George Connor, visited the Pro Football Hall of Fame today with his wife Angela and two sons George III and Alan.
The Connors visit included a behind the scenes tour where they saw historic artifacts worn by the Class of 1975 enshrinee including his jersey, jacket and autographed football.
The former first-round draft pick played linebacker for the Chicago Bears from 1948-1955. He also spent a minor portion of his career as a tackle on both offense and defense. In 1952 and 1953, Connor was named all-league on both the offensive and defensive teams by different wire services.
