HOF Artifact of the Week

This wrist watch was given to Hall of Famer Jerome Bettis for playing in the 1998 Pro Bowl. We have many Pro Bowl artifacts in our collection which most likely is due to the fact players selected to the game can keep their uniforms and any gifts they receive from the game.

In the past many teams would not allow players to keep their regular season uniforms. The earliest Pro Bowl watch in our collection is LeRoy Selmon’s for playing in the 1981 Pro Bowl. The latest Pro Bowl watch we have is from Larry Allen for playing in the 2001 Pro Bowl. The NFL still gives watches to Pro Bowl players. Jerome Bettis was named to the Pro Bowl six times during his 13-year career.
