Hall Lights Up Orange for National Hunger Action Day
In honor of National Hunger Action Day and to support the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, the iconic Pro Football Hall of Fame dome was lighted orange last night (Sept. 10).
September is Hunger Action Month; a national campaign led by Feeding America and food banks across the country. The monthlong campaign serves to raise awareness of hunger in America and promote ways for individuals to stand against hunger. Action can come in a variety of forms – sharing, volunteering, advocating, fundraising and donating.
