The Mission: ‘Road to Canton’ features Marcus Mills
Marcus Mills, the youngest son of five-time Pro Bowler and New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers great Sam Mills, is the latest guest of “The Mission” podcast. He joined to discuss his father’s status as Finalist for the Hall of Fame’s Class of 2022.
In 12 seasons, Mills made an impact on and off the field for the Saints and Panthers. Undrafted out of Montclair State (N.J.), he received All-Pro honors three times (first or second team) and earned five Pro Bowl nominations. 2022 marks his third year as a Modern-Era Player Finalist.
Marcus discussed his father’s career, Sam’s induction into the Saints’ Ring of Honor, the Panthers’ “Keep Pounding” mantra and the top moments of his dad’s playing career.
