'The Mission: Genesis Butler Will Present Her Husband LeRoy Butler At His 2022 Enshrinement'
Every Thursday, Hall of Fame Productions is proud to air a new episode of “The Mission” podcast. During the month of July, we’ll pay tribute to the “Presenters” of the 2022 Class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Throughout the decades of enshrinement ceremonies, guests have watched a range of former coaches, fathers, wives, sons, daughters, and even high school principals present the newest members into the esteemed Hall of Fame.
For Genesis Butler, the wife of LeRoy Butler, she has the honor of presenting her husband into the Hall. Genesis joins a list of five other wives who have had the same honor of presenting their better halves: Kim Singletary (1998), DeAnna Favre (2016), Gene Jones (2017), Brenda Warner (2017), and Tracy Mawae (2018).
“These are some strong and trailblazing women,” said Mrs. Butler. “I’m truly honored to be the sixth wife in Hall of Fame history to present my husband.”
