Extra Points from NFL Week 4 Games

Each week, the National Football League releases statistical highlights from Sunday’s games played during the 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. ET windows. The Pro Football Hall of Fame will look at some of these highlights and how they relate to members of the Hall and the history of football. From Week 4:

  • Cowboys’ wide receiver CeeDee Lamb had a career-high 17 receptions for 189 yards and a touchdown. He is now the fourth player in NFL history with at least 17 receptions, 185 yards receiving and a touchdown in a single game, joining Hall of Famers TOM FEARS and TERRELL OWENS as well as Brandon Marshall.

  • Jonathan Taylor rushed for 95 yards and scored two touchdowns in the Colts’ victory over the Commanders in London.
    • Taylor, who is 27-years-old, has 19 games with multiple rushing touchdowns, ranking him tied for fourth in NFL history with Clinton Portis. He trails Hall of Famers EMMITT SMITH (28 games), LaDAINIAN TOMLINSON (26) and JIM BROWN (21).
    • Taylor now has rushed for 75 touchdowns, becoming the fifth running back under the age of 28 to reach that mark, joining Hall of Famers EMMITT SMITH (108), LaDAINIAN TOMLINSON (100), JIM BROWN (82) as well as Adrian Peterson (76).

  • Raiders’ tight end Brock Bowers had six receptions for 86 yards and a touchdown Sunday against Kansas City.
    • Bowers now has 2,076 career receiving yards in 31 games, tying Pro Football Hall of Famer KELLEN WINSLOW as the second-fastest tight end to reach 2,000 career receiving yards, trailing only Hall of Famer MIKE DITKA (30 games).
    • Bowers’ 192 career receptions after his performance Sunday pushed him past Jason Witten (188) for the most receptions by an NFL tight end under the age of 24. (Bowers is 23).

  • Joe Burrow passed for 428 yards and a touchdown and added a rushing touchdown against Jacksonville. Burrow now has eight career games with at least 400 passing yards since 2020, surpassing Matthew Stafford (seven games) for fourth-most such games by a player in his first seven seasons. He trails only Patrick Mahomes (10 games), Hall of Famer DAN MARINO (10) and Dak Prescott (nine).

  • In that same game, Tee Higgins and Chase Brown each caught 11 passes. They joined the Chargers’ duo of Keenan Allen and Austin Ekeler (2020), the Vikings’ duo of Moe Williams and Hall of Famer RANDY MOSS (2003) and the Buccaneers’ duo of Warrick Dunn and Keyshawn Johnson (2001) and the wide receiver/running back duos with at least 11 catches in the same game.

  • With seven receptions for 31 yards against the New York Giants, Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride has 380 career receptions, the second-most by a tight end in his first 70 games, trailing only Hall of Famer KELLEN WINSLOW (391).
