Jerry Jones to present DeMarcus Ware at 2023 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement
Jones drafted Ware, a 6-4 linebacker/defensive end out of Troy State, 11th overall in the 2005 draft. DeMarcus would spend nine of his 12 professional seasons in Dallas, starting 140 games and totaling 576 tackles and 117 sacks, which is still a franchise record.
“DeMarcus was everything we could have ever wanted in a player, a person and a representative of the Cowboys organization,” Jones stated. “He was one of the most dominant NFL players at his position in his era and he was one of the most dynamic players in the history of the Dallas Cowboys.”
The Class of 2023 will be enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday, Aug. 5, at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton. Tickets for Enshrinement are available at www.profootballhof.com/tickets.
