Bruce Smith's helmet


This helmet was worn by Class of 2009 enshrinee Bruce Smith during the 1990 season. Smith recorded a career-high 19 sacks in 1990 on his way to being named the NFL's Defesnive Player of the Year. Smith, the first overall selection in the 1985 NFL Draft quickly established himself as a starter on the Bills defensive line. He would go on to play 19 years in the NFL and currently holds the record for career sacks with 200.
