Ewbank’s film projector

Hall of Fame coach Weeb Ewbank was regarded as a mastermind who had a knack for developing young talent. His endless hours of studying film helped him become one of the great all-time coaches. Under his guidance, Ewbank led the Baltimore Colts to back-to-back titles in 1958 and 1959. He moved onto the American Football League and the New York Jets. In 1968, he led the team to a shocking upset of his former team with a 16-7 victory in Super Bowl III.

This is one of two film projectors used by Ewbank that are now part of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s permanent collection. They along with many of his game films were donated to the Hall of Fame by his wife Lucy shortly after Weeb passed away in November 1998.
