“Bullet Bill” Dudley, 1921-2010
Hall of Fame halfback Bill Dudley passed away on Feb. 4 at the age of 88. A dynamic player with three teams – the Pittsburgh Steelers, Detroit Lions, and Washington Redskins, Dudley scored nine different ways during his spectacular career.

Dudley goes No. 1
Bill Dudley is one of only 13 players in the history of the National Football League draft to have gone from being the first overall pick of a draft to earning election into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
